Nampa, Idaho

Honoring the physics of traditional bowyery.

We reject the rush of modern manufacturing. In our Idaho workshop, every bow is shaped from slow-cured timber, grain-matched to withstand the high desert.

The Bowyer's Creed

An arrow doesn't lie. If the spine isn't perfectly matched to the bow, the wind will find the flaw.

Precision is not an aesthetic choice; it is a mechanical necessity. We work with the natural tension of the wood, not against it.

Slow-Cured Timber

Hand-shaped in Nampa.

We begin with slow-cured yew and Pacific Northwest timber. Each stave is selected for its tight, straight growth rings, then seasoned for seasons in our workshop until the moisture content matches the high desert air.

Using traditional hand planes and drawknives, we follow the natural grain of the wood. This ensures that the finished bow retains its structural integrity, built to weather decades of heavy wilderness use.
